About the role
This training and education-based role reports to the Security Enablement and Training Manager. You will be part of the Information Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (IGRC) Team and collaborate with various business stakeholders across the group.
Your responsibilities include supporting the delivery of a group-wide strategy, fostering cultural change, and embedding positive security behaviors. You will develop and maintain a security skills and capability matrix to ensure that the business meets its strategic objectives safely and securely. The role covers all aspects of Security, including Information Security, Physical Security, Business Continuity, and Cybersecurity.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Assisting in developing and maintaining training, education, and awareness campaigns, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and Data Protection Act (DPA) commitments.
* Supporting the delivery of training, education, and awareness programs both virtually and in person.
* Managing colleague training and awareness KPI reporting.
* Providing expertise on security culture and behavior across various processes within the department and wider business.
* Liaising effectively with Drax teams, consultants, and contractors to meet targets.
Who we're looking for
You should have previous experience in a training and education role, with the ability to translate standards, frameworks, and controls into meaningful content. A structured, methodical, and accurate approach is essential, along with the ability to interpret relevant industry regulations and standards. Familiarity with developing and maintaining training, education, and awareness materials is preferred.
This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence beyond your immediate control.
