Overview
Are you a results‑driven production leader with a proven track record of delivering meaningful efficiency gains? A leading industrial process manufacturer is seeking an experienced Interim Production Manager to support a critical improvement phase within the business.
Key Responsibilities
* In this hands‑on and fast‑paced position, take ownership of day‑to‑day production operations while spearheading targeted optimisation initiatives.
* Assess current processes, identify bottlenecks, implement robust improvements, and embed best‑practice methodologies across the manufacturing site.
* Lead and motivate production teams to achieve output, quality, and safety objectives.
* Analyse existing workflows and introduce efficiency‑focused improvements.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma or similar).
* Implement structured KPIs and performance reporting.
* Support the senior leadership team through a period of operational change.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and H&S standards.
Key Skills
* Strong background in production management positions.
* Demonstrable experience delivering impactful production efficiency gains.
* Skilled in CI methodologies with a practical, hands‑on approach.
* Confident communicator able to influence teams at all levels.
* Ready to step into an interim role and deliver rapid, sustainable improvements.
