Location: Project near Launceston (Cornwall/Devon border)
Position: 3 Tonne Excavator Driver
Start Date: Tuesday 28 April
Duration: 6-8 WEEKS, 7.30AM-5.30PM (Monday to Friday)
Rate: 18.00-19.00 per hour
Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and experienced 3 tonne excavator driver to work on a project near Launceston. The role will involve general groundwork duties, operating a 3t machine safely and efficiently, and working as part of a site team.
Requirements
1. Valid CPCS or NPORS ticket for 3 tonne excavator
2. Proven experience operating a 3t machine
3. Good understanding of site health & safety
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
6. CSCS card (preferred if required on site)
Duties Include
7. Operating a 3 tonne excavator
8. Trenching, drainage, footings, and general groundworks
9. Assisting groundworkers when required
10. Daily machine checks and basic maintenance
11. Following site plans and instructions
