Arden White Aerospace and Defence Recruitment are currently with a leading manufacturer in the defence industry.
We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Supervisor on a permanent basis paying £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on qualfiications and experience.
Responsibilities:
* To lead and Supervise manufacturing operations team to safely ensure the on-time delivery of finished products at correct quality and cost
* Champion continuous improvement in all activities
* Responsible for effective deployment of resource, achieving business returned hour targets are delivered
* Ensuring the manufacturing team can deliver on targets
* Reporting writing
* Ensure that the company Quality Management Systems and Manufacturing Procedures are followed
Person Specification
* Must have production supervisor/manufacturing supervisor/cell leader experience in the Aerospace, Automotive or Defence industry
* Experience planning and leading manufacturing schedules
* Must have experience managing teams of 20+ people
