Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Role
Location:
South East England, East Sussex, Eastbourne
Job Type:
Full time, placement to take place till the end of the academic year with the view to be extended
Salary:
£385 - £425 Per Week
Job Duties:
* Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
* Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans
* Help students with academic tasks and personal care needs
* Monitor and record students' progress and behaviour
* Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs in English and Maths
* Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
Experience:
Previous experience working with children. SEN expierene is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities
* Effective communication skills
* Empathy and patience when working with students
* Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* First Aid certification
