Operative Moulding Job ref: DOM2026-13 | Job type: Permanent Location: Denroy Plastics Limited | Salary: negotiable Quantity of Posts Available: 4 Closing date: Friday 03 Apr 2026 13:00 Operative Roles within Moulding Department Job Title:Operative Roles Permanent x 4 Day shift Department: Moulding Reporting to:Team Leader within Moulding Day shift Working Hours: 2 weeks @ 34.5 hours a week and 1 x week 46 hours a week. Denroy Limited is a leading supplier of plastics injection moulding solutions to a number of industries worldwide. RESPONSIBILITIES: You will: Assist in the production of moulded parts ensuring they are moulded to customer specification. Assemble, pack and label finished goods in preparation for shipment. Rapid reporting of machine breakdown to Process team. Rapid reporting of quality issues to Quality team. Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures. Maintain factory floor in excellent order, utilise 5S system, and ensure housekeeping is kept to the highest standard in all areas of responsibility for the Moulding Dept. To support the reduction of scrap from site. To ensure that safety is maintained/ improved by reporting unsafe conditions/ incidents. Visual inspection of produced components for quality and to identify issues or defects. Basic problem solving. Label/wrap/transport pallets to holding areas. Contribute to Denroys unified manufacturing excellence program. Perform any other duties that are appropriate to the role. Requirements: Able to work on foot for extended periods of time. Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to communicate at all levels. Excellent numeracy skills Ability to listen and follow verbal and written instructions. Be able to work as part of a team. Be able to work of own initiative. Have a flexible approach. Have attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Desirable To have previous experience in injection moulding and or previous experience working in a factory setting. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S. Operation of injection moulding including: basic machine operator, functions, start, stop, setup and tool change. Moulding (Vacancies) 4 x Day shift, Full Time Employee (Full Time Hours) - No weekend work. This is not an exhaustive list but is an indication of the extent of the role. There is significant opportunity to develop this role further as it is a critical function in Denroy. Day Shift role benefits from an hourly rate enhancement from 1800 hrs 2000 hrs due to working hours. Please note: We are not a licenced UK visa sponsor.
