Our client is a well-established manufacturing company in Broadstairs looking for a driven Marketing & Sales Assistant to help strengthen our customer outreach. This role is perfect for someone who wants a friendly workplace, steady hours, and the chance to grow into a permanent position.
📞 What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with the Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in driving our customer engagement:
* Making confident cold calls and sales calls to customers and prospects
* Sending email and postal campaigns using Excel, Word & Outlook
* Updating and maintaining accurate customer/prospect data
* Reporting weekly activity results to the Sales Manager
* Supporting general sales tasks within a busy, hands-on manufacturing environment
Full product and service training will be provided!
⭐ What We're Looking For
* Experience in cold calling or sales calling (essential)
* Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
* Good MS Excel skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
* High attention to detail and organised working style
* Confidence speaking with customers at all levels
* Understanding of manufacturing sales processes (advantageous but not essential)
