Job Title: Clinical Research Administrator/Study Support Coordinator Location: Bedford Type: Full-time, Permanent Overview: An emerging clinical research organisation is preparing to launch several new studies and is now looking for a motivated and adaptable Clinical Research Administrator to join the team. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive support across all day-to-day activities within the research unit Manage front-of-house duties, including greeting and coordinating patients Organise and schedule patient visits, ensuring smooth clinic flow Chase, coordinate, and maintain accuracy of medical records Liaise with GPs, physicians and external healthcare professionals Support interactions with study sponsors and contribute to study-related administrative tasks Assist in maintaining compliance, documentation and study readiness Ideal Candidate Profile: Previous experience in a similar role within a clinical research site (CRO, site management organisation, hospital research unit or similar) Strong organisational skills and comfort working in a dynamic, evolving environment Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with clinical staff, sponsors, and patients A proactive mindset with attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of tasks Alternative Backgrounds Considered: Registered or trainee Nurses with clinic administration experience who are interested in progressing into a Study Coordinator or Research Nurse role after an initial onboarding period
