It’s been an exciting time at Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust as we continue our journey of "Being our Best", and our mission to provide world‑class patient care.
Due to internal moves and career progression opportunities within the Trust, we are recruiting new Ambulance Care Assistant 2 positions. This role is not ordinary; we seek extraordinary people to join one of our 6‑week training programmes.
Main duties of the job
Ambulance Care Assistant 2 roles often serve as entry points, with many staff progressing into Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic roles. You will have a real passion for patient care, excellent communication and people skills, and be a committed team player who relishes a job where no two days are the same.
In return, we support your development and career ambitions with high‑quality training, dedicated time to undertake CPD opportunities and an annual Personal Development Review to help you be your best.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not required; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
