Base pay range
Contract Type: Casual Contract
Salary: £12.21 per hour

Role Overview
Do you have a passion for customer service and an understanding of basic health and safety requirements? If so, this role is for you! You will support the Catering Supervisor at The Conway Outdoor Education Centre, representing Edsential and our customer’s school to ensure high-quality food standards and customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Assist with food provision including preparation, cooking, serving, portion control, and managing special diets and allergens.
* Prepare dining areas and service counters.
* Maintain cleanliness of dining, kitchen, and staff facilities.
* Operate tills, adhere to IT practices, and participate in training.
* Follow safety, hygiene, and safeguarding policies according to Edsential and legal standards.
* Promote the service and build good relationships with customers, including catering outside contracted hours for events.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in a school kitchen is advantageous but not essential; training provided.
* Ability to build relationships and foster a positive work environment.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and take direction.
* Flexible to work across different Edsential units as needed.
