Are you an Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience across both on-premise and cloud environments? This is a chance to join a company at the start of their cloud journey, where you’ll support core infrastructure whilst driving adoption of Microsoft Azure.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in infrastructure and support who wants to broaden their skills in a cloud environment. You’ll work across servers, networking, and Microsoft 365, while also gaining exposure to automation and DevOps practices as the organisation evolves.
What you’ll be doing
* Providing 2nd/3rd line support across on-premise and Azure environments.
* Managing Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and endpoint services.
* Supporting Azure migrations, configuration, and optimisation.
* Maintaining and troubleshooting virtualisation platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
* Monitoring system performance and security, resolving incidents, and implementing fixes.
* Assisting with infrastructure projects to improve scalability and resilience.
* Using scripting/automation (e.g. PowerShell) to streamline tasks.
* Collaborating with colleagues to introduce cloud-first and DevOps-aligned practices.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer / 3rd Line Engineer.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365.
* Hands-on experience with Azure (VMs, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID, networking, etc.).
* Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a support environment.
* Scripting skills with PowerShell would be beneficial.
* Awareness of automation/DevOps practices is a plus but not essential.
