Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cardboard Engineer to join our award-winning team. The right candidate might come from a background in cardboard engineering, packaging, structural design, or product design.
We are seeking a problem solver who loves challenges and works well within a diverse team to take highly creative concepts through to final products and displays.

Candidates should have experience with engineering software such as Artios CAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact, or similar. The role involves balancing creativity and practicality to develop displays that are innovative, eye-catching, cost-effective, and compliant with brand and retailer guidelines. Teamwork is essential, and collaboration with 3D Designers, Graphic Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers is expected.
As a Cardboard/Structural Designer, your responsibilities will include:
* Generating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides.
* Understanding manufacturing processes and developing manufacturing efficiencies through value engineering.
* Conducting weight testing and experimenting with new structures, prototypes, and materials.
* Communicating effectively with designers and sales teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and retail guidelines.
* Working on a range of briefs from simple shelf trays to complex free-standing displays and event sites.
* Adapting quickly in a fast-paced studio environment.
* Challenging conventions and pushing creative boundaries.
