What’s the role?
The Leyland Facility, where Chicago Town Pizzas started over 30 years ago, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our modern production facility. You will work alongside our teams to produce Dr. Oetker and Chicago Town branded pizzas.
A career at Dr. Oetker offers:
* Responsibility for all aspects of Automation within the Maintenance Department, including Continuous Improvement Automation initiatives, process optimization, fault-finding, and corrective actions. Good communication and teamwork with all stakeholders are essential.
* Support and collaboration with the International Digitalisation and Automation Team on key strategic projects, with ownership of these projects post-implementation.
* Close work with Capital Investment Project Teams to stay current with new equipment procurement and installation, providing expertise to resolve complex issues and realize our “future factory” vision.
You will ensure optimal automation-related equipment availability across all processes.
Who are we looking for?
Successful candidates will have a thorough understanding of electrical control and automation principles, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure in a live production environment.
Strong communication skills and a professional manner are vital for building effective relationships across departments. Ability to adapt to rapid changes and remain calm under pressure while making improvements or fixing problems is crucial.
Experience in Automation Maintenance within an FMCG environment is required, particularly with Siemens PLCs, HMIs, analogue and digital control systems, and instrumentation.
