LOCATION: JPMorgan Dansleigh House, BH7 7DU, Bournemouth
WORKING HOURS: 20 HOURS PER WEEK
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday 19:00 - 23:00
PAY RATE: £13.50 PER HOUR
We are seeking an experienced cleaning supervisor with great attention to detail. ABM uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times. The role involves carrying out cleaning and supervisory duties as directed by the manager or supervisor.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead and engage a team to deliver high standards of cleaning throughout the building.
2. Perform cleaning duties in areas such as washrooms, kitchens, reception, offices, meeting rooms, corridors, stairs, breakout areas, lifts, and other designated spaces.
3. Oversee waste handling on-site, ensuring proper disposal via approved waste streams.
4. Maintain shower blocks and replenish towels as needed.
5. Clean and scrub hard floors, spot clean carpets, and vacuum common areas.
6. Provide training to team members through monthly toolbox talks and safety briefings.
7. Ensure all cleaning equipment is clean, well-maintained, and safe to use.
8. Respond promptly to spillages and callouts from the on-site team.
9. Communicate effectively with the on-site team and management.
10. Ensure all team members wear PPE and comply with health and safety policies.
11. Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
12. Undertake full training on cleaning methods and equipment.
13. Manage holiday and absence coverage, maintaining cleaning standards.
14. Perform touch point cleaning and laundry duties.
15. Manage stock levels and signing-in procedures on-site.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* Previous supervisory cleaning experience preferred.
* Basic knowledge of health and safety requirements or willingness to learn.
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Adaptability to a busy operational environment.
* Reliable and flexible approach to work.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Physically fit for an active role.
* Smart, clean appearance.
* Proactive attitude and flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
