My client, a well-established recruitment agency with over 20 years’ experience in the Building & Construction, Office Support, and Warehouse & Distribution sectors, is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join their team. They currently operate warm desks in the fast-paced Driving & Industrial (D&I) and Soft FM & Office Support sectors. Prior experience in these sectors is desirable but not essential — the key is a willingness to learn and adapt. You’ll be part of a supportive, professional team of 14 in a busy, collaborative office. Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates to ensure exceptional service delivery. Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening, coordinating interviews, and negotiating offers. Stay informed on industry trends and market developments to provide valuable insights to clients and candidates. Work closely with team members to achieve departmental goals and targets. Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process. Requirements: Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally supplying temporary workers to the Industrial or Driving sectors (other sectors will be considered). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Knowledge of recruitment best practices and relevant employment legislation. Strong time management and organisational skills. Drive and motivation to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Benefits: Competitive salary: £28,000–£35,000 per annum 10–15% commission. Hybrid working – 1 day per week from home. 25 days annual leave. Regular team-building events.
