Artex Risk Solutions is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to join our EMEA team. In this role, you will act as the central point of contact for all EMEA jurisdictions, driving the execution of the Global COO’s strategy while shaping the long-term operational vision. You will support the Artex COO in achieving the objectives of the Artex EMEA division, collaborating with the EMEA Executive team and key support functions. As Head of Operations, you will lead business integration, operational change, process improvement, and the implementation of effective governance and controls across Artex EMEA. This role will be based in Guernsey sitting within our largest EMEA operation. We are pleased to offer relocation support from the UK for the successful candidate, ensuring a smooth transition to this exciting opportunity. How you'll make an impact Assist and support in delivering the operational strategy for Artex EMEA. Design and deliver target operating models across all Artex EMEA branches, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalability. Support the EMEA Executive team in driving strategic development and business expansion. Develop and implement risk, compliance, and governance procedures to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies. Lead insourcing, resourcing, and operational process changes, tracking and measuring value creation. Support the planning and implementation of newly acquired businesses to ensure seamless integration. Work closely with local business operation leads, shared service departments, and Gallagher corporate functions to coordinate operational changes. Deliver timely and accurate management information, contribute to quarterly Executive Board Pack reports, and monitor operational KPIs. Implement and monitor business resilience and crisis management planning across EMEA branches. About You Proven experience performing Operational related role(s). Detailed understanding of insurance products, services, and risk management principles. Proven experience in matrix management and liaising with parent organisations/offshore partners. Strong problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and organisational skills. High levels of integrity, self-motivation, and the ability to adhere to tight deadlines. Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills. A collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships and networks across diverse teams.
