Minimum qualifications:
* PhD, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Doctorate in Nursing (DNurs), or medical degree (MBBS), along with specialized training in human performance or sports medicine, as demonstrated by completion of an accredited residency, fellowship, equivalent certification, or equivalent practical experienc
* 5 years of experience in consumer-focused digital health research and product development focused on consumer health.
* 5 years of experience driving projects in various environments, with cross-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications:
* 1 year of experience with AI in a research or health setting or with research in generative AI, including safety approaches and peer-reviewed publications.
* Experience developing comprehensive fitness programming for patients or athletes.
* Experience in digital health evaluation and research, and designing and conducting real-world evaluations.
* Recognition as a regional or national leader in human performance or sports medicine.
* Demonstrated track record taking a consumer focused health or wellness product from concept to market.

Responsibilities
* Use clinical expertise to provide guidance, insights and direction for Google's consumer products, particularly Pixel/Fitbit, work with research and product teams.
* Leverage scientific and clinical expertise in nutrition science to design metrics, research studies and product requirements.
* Identify relevant evidence-based practices and scientific break-throughs to define strategic priorities and new opportunities to help people improve health and wellbeing using sensors and software.
* Contribute to the development of Generative AI products to enhance access to reliable and credible information.
