About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Events Operations Manager to support the smooth running of Events and In-Room Dining operations. You will lead, coach and inspire a team to deliver exceptional, personalised service across a range of guest experiences, from private dining to large-scale events.
Assistant Events Operations Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day management of Events & In-Room Dining operations
Lead, train and motivate the team to deliver 5-star service standards
Oversee event set-up and ensure all spaces meet client specifications
Drive guest satisfaction by monitoring service quality and acting on feedback
Manage staffing levels, rotas, and daily briefings
Control stock, costs, payroll, and departmental expenses
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation
Collaborate with Events, Sales, and Culinary teams
Support team development through training, coaching, and performance reviewsAbout You
Previous experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or luxury environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Good food & beverage knowledge
Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
