Qualified Social Worker
Hospital
Location: Merseyside
Pay rate: £43 per hour
We are looking for experienced and passionate Social Workers to join a dedicated Hospital Team. You will be joining a busy, supportive environment and must have hospital experience. Your role will involve ensuring quality practice that meets the needs of patients, service users, and their families. You will supervise case management for your cases and intervene with legal and procedural authority to protect vulnerable individuals at risk of abuse or neglect. Your work will help individuals, families, and groups to develop their capacities for independent living and resolve conflicts that may threaten their well-being.
Working within social care legislation and local government standards, you will support the delivery of person-centered, safe, and effective social care services. Using your professional knowledge, you will make assessments and decisions about appropriate interventions. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to ensure services meet their needs.
You will be committed to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes for children and families, striving to provide the best possible support. Your passion for supporting vulnerable populations and ensuring their well-being will be central to your role. Our priority is to protect the most vulnerable and operate efficiently.
Ideal candidate:
* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
* Experienced in working with children and families, including vulnerable groups
* Knowledgeable of Child Protection legislation and issues
* Creative, flexible, and forward-thinking
* Skilled in mediation and negotiation
* Experienced in multi-disciplinary, interagency work
* At least 2 years of qualified experience
Responsibilities include:
* Assessing risks, protection, and social care needs
* Managing an agreed caseload
* Using specialized communication skills to achieve outcomes
* Developing individual care plans that promote dignity and empowerment
