We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager with Injection Moulding experience to join a global manufacturing company based in the UK. This is a key supervisory role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring injection moulding operations run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The position will suit a hands-on supervisor looking to progress their career within a secure and stable organisation.
Role Description
1. Supervise injection moulding production output on shift, ensuring daily targets, efficiencies, and KPIs are achieved
2. Oversee multiple injection moulding machines and associated processes, including set-up, changeovers, and first-off approvals
3. Manage and motivate production operatives, setters, and technicians to ensure optimal performance and engagement
4. Monitor material usage, stock levels, and scrap rates within the injection moulding department
5. Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations, SOPs, and PPE requirements at all times
6. Maintain high-quality standards through regular checks, quality audits, and effective non-conformance / rework management
7. Plan daily production schedules, allocate labour effectively, and escalate any machine, tooling, or material issues as required
