Overview

This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings.
Responsibilities
* Expertly clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
* Perform thorough diagnostic assessments and service work on HVAC systems to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
* Provide professional HVAC solutions tailored to customer needs, recommending improvements that enhance system performance and energy efficiency.
* Effectively communicate with customers to address issues and ensure a positive service experience and high customer satisfaction.
* Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including invoices, warranty forms, and timesheets for each service call.
* Maintain tools, parts, and the service vehicle in a clean, organized state, ensuring readiness.
* Respond promptly and professionally to emergency repair requests.
* Stay informed about the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
* Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC service or installation.
* HVAC Commercial experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work comfortably in confined spaces while maintaining safety and efficiency.
* Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to HVAC work.
* Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience and a clean record.
* Ability to pass periodic drug tests and background checks.
Physical Requirements
* Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
* Climb ladders, access attics, navigate tight spaces, drive, enter crawlspaces, push, carry, pull, use hand tools, and perform fine detail work.
* Ability to drive.
* Work in various indoor and outdoor settings, including attics and crawlspaces.
* Stand, walk, sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
* Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
* Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
* Exposure to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions such as heat or cold, wind, rain, ice, or snow.
