Main duties of the job
Permanent Salaried GP to see patients face to face and via telephone for 6 sessions a week: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The services we offer (subject to Covid 19regulations) are:
Joint injections (including referrals fromother practices)
Minorsurgery in a fully equipped minor op room
Comprehensivefamily planning service including nexplanon / IUD fitting and removal andprovision of emergency contraception
Primary Care Gynaecology Service
Baby Checks
Physiotherapy
Health Trainers
ExerciseClasses delivered by Inspiring Healthy Lifestyle trainers in our fullyequipped Gym

We currently have 09 partners and 6salaried GP's that are supported by 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, PracticeNurses, Healthcare Assistants, Phlebotomist and a large administration team.The clinical system is Systmone and the practice uses the AskMyGP onlineconsulting platform.
Pennygate is a large busy practice in theborough of Wigan with approximately 19,000 patients; we are a training practicecurrently supporting ST3, ST1 and FY2 doctors as well as nursing students. Weconsistently achieve excellent QOF and Primary Care Standards results and metall CQC standards.
