• Conduct regular welfare and security checks.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and safeguarding concerns.
• Operate CCTV and security systems in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and handovers.
• Provide a professional, welcoming, and supportive service to residents.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure continuity of support and service delivery.
You will have:
• Experience working with vulnerable people or similar client groups.
• Knowledge of building security, Health & Safety, and safeguarding practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using CCTV, databases, and reporting systems.
• The ability to remain calm, professional, and responsive in challenging situations.
Why Join One YMCA? As part of our Housing & Communities team, you'll contribute to services that support vulnerable people across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation committed to ending homelessness and helping people build brighter, more independent futures.
If you're passionate about supporting people and creating safe environments where residents can thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
