We are looking for a Production Supervisor to be based at our Talke site, reporting to the Manager of Operations of the site. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in organising, optimising and continually improving the operational activities on site whilst working with other areas of the business and considering the Sibelco values and policies. Key Responsibilities: To maintain the highest standards of the quarry industry in terms of health and safety, processes, quality, environment and legal obligations. Ensure the production team, both own employees and subcontractors, perform their activities whilst ensuring safety is the highest priority. Motivate people to report unsafe/unhealthy behaviour/issues. Motivate people to strive to continuous improvement. Schedule production and ensure activities are performed according to the schedule Ensuring maintenance, both own employees and subcontractors perform their activities whilst ensuring safety is the highest priority Align with the Operations manager when problems arise and/or the production schedule cannot be met Supervise the Production and Maintenance activities in the Site according to the Operational Excellence principles. Strive for an optimal balance between customer demands and specifications in relation to quality, quantity, efficiency and cost. Motivate and evaluate the team members to enhance team collaboration and support their individual development and growth.
