Role - Chief Financial Officer Location - Lancashire Salary - Between £180,000 and £210,000. Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a profitable energy business in their search for a CFO to work out of their office based in Lancashire on an initial 9-month contract to help them through a transaction. The successful candidate will need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and must have experience of guiding a business through a successful transaction. Strong commercial accounting skills are essential as is exposure to working for a multi-entity organisation. A background in working within energy or a regulated environment would be a distinct advantage. Strong staff management skills are a must as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key duties for the Chief Financial Officer role will involve: Assist the leadership team through a successful transaction Lead on commercial and financial due diligence Engage and build relationships with investors/buyers Manage the data room and key reporting Banking and working capital management Build key relationships with stakeholders and advisors Assist with key financial issues Management of finance team of circa 14 Salary for the role is anywhere between £180,000 and £210,000 and equivalent day rates will be considered This is a fantastic opportunity for a CFO that has led a previous transaction to work for an organisation for an initial 9-month contract to help lead them through to a successful sale.
