With a positive attitude and ability to lead, manage and motivate your team, we are looking for someone who is well organised and practical. You will be accountable for all aspects of facilities management across our sites delivering planned and reactive maintenance within a heritage environment.
The postholder will make sure we are safe and compliant with relevant Health & Safety, Environmental, Fire & Security standards, procedures and legislation. You will also have experience in project management and delivery of M&E and services projects. Ideally you will have a relevant professional qualification as well as practical experience of Health & Safety and risk management.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working alongside the public and completing repairs in a busy environment, while ensuring that our sites are maintained to the highest standards. It would be beneficial to have experience of this within a heritage/visitor attraction setting.
The post holder will need to have experience of managing budgets and prioritising a busy workload. Experience of procurement and management of contractors is essential. This role is full of variety, and you will work collaboratively with other teams across our museum service, as well as with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
