Job Description:
Veramed is seeking a Head of Projects and Analytical Solutions to lead and manage approximately 100 professionals across Europe, India, and North America, including statisticians, programmers, data managers, and technologists.
This strategic leadership role involves delivering high-quality biometrics and data management services, ensuring operational excellence, and meeting financial targets. The role requires driving growth, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring project delivery aligns with organizational goals.
Strong leadership and people management skills are essential. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Biostatistics, Data Science, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields, with over 12 years of progressive leadership experience in biostatistics, clinical research, or related life sciences consulting.
Key responsibilities include:
P&L Ownership:
* Full ownership of profit and loss, managing revenue and profitability.
* Developing and implementing strategies to meet financial goals.
Strategic Leadership:
* Driving business development and account management to secure projects.
* Understanding client needs, proposing new services, and developing go-to-market strategies.
* Leading and inspiring cross-functional teams across regions.
* Defining operational strategies for scalable project delivery.
Client and Account Management:
* Ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
* Building relationships with key clients and serving as an executive sponsor as needed.
Project Management & Resourcing:
* Overseeing project staffing and resource allocation.
* Managing projects within budget and timeline, including forecasting profitability.
* Implementing best practices in project management.
* Collaborating with Service Line Leads to refine services and develop innovative solutions.
Talent Development:
* Fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Managing recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in relevant fields.
* Over 12 years of leadership experience in biostatistics, clinical research, or life sciences consulting.
* Proven P&L management and experience leading global teams.
Skills:
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies and resourcing strategies.
