What does a Laundry Assistant do?
Our Laundry Assistants ensure that all residents’ personal clothing and linen are laundered and cleaned to the highest standards. Responsibilities include:
* Appropriately separating and laundering items according to washing/drying instructions
* Laundering all linen, including bedding, tablecloths, towels, and soft furnishings
* Collecting and returning personal items within a reasonable timescale
* Maintaining a tidy and safe laundry area and notifying the Housekeeper of hazards or defective equipment
* Performing general cleaning duties
* Developing positive relationships with residents, staff, and visitors
