Join the Steer Automotive Group Customer Service Team – Doncaster

At Steer Automotive Group, we’re more than repair specialists we’re shaping the future of vehicle care. We’re looking for a Customer Service Call Handler to join our First Notification of Loss (FNOL) Team in Doncaster. If you’re friendly, proactive, and passionate about helping people, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the first point of contact after an accident, you’ll play a key role in supporting our customers during a stressful time, guiding them with empathy, reassurance, and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

14. Handling inbound calls from customers reporting accidents or vehicle damage
15. Logging details accurately and promptly into our claims system
16. Keeping customers informed throughout their claims journey
17. Liaising with insurers, repair teams, and internal departments
18. Managing your own workload while achieving team performance targets

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to be an automotive expert what matters is your ability to deliver outstanding customer care.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

19. Communicate clearly and confidently over the phone and by email
20. Stay calm and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment
21. Approach challenges with empathy and initiative
22. Have strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
23. Bring previous customer service experience (insurance or automotive is a bonus)
