Joining us as a Funeral Marketing Co-Ordinator you’ll be helping to support the delivery of our marketing plan as well as the ongoing improvement of the customer journey. Reporting into the Senior Funeral Digital & Customer Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering the digital customer and marketing communications plan across all services within Funeral (including at need Funerals, Funeral Plans, Floral, Masonry, Bretby Crematorium and supporting services). In this varied role, you’ll be acting as a brand ambassador- ensuring our branding is used correctly across all marketing collateral. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Creating engaging content for websites, email newsletters and social media posts Managing marketing campaigns across digital, print and social platforms Updating website content on the Content Management System Recording customer engagement, managing lists and email marketing on a CRM Interpreting Google Analytics and digital campaign dashboard results Supporting our customers by delivering online memorial campaigns Managing customer review platforms (such as Google and Trust Pilot) Using Hootsuite to post and schedule on social media channels Working closely with our Funeral Homes to support them in their delivery of community activities Working with external agencies on brochure amends, proof reading and instructing photographers You’ll be sharing marketing plans and updates to our internal teams and management, ensuring they are kept up to date and informed. Essential to this role will be the ongoing building of your working relationships with internal colleagues as well as external agencies. Through your work you’ll help foster an inclusive and welcoming culture. Please note This is a 6-month fixed-term contact. There may be the possibility of an extension, subject to business needs and performance. This will be a hybrid role based from our Support Centre in Lichfield. There will be a requirement for occasional travel to other premises across the Society or to our external marketing agencies. How will I know if I am right for this role? We’re looking for someone who has a Marketing degree or equivalent experience. You’ll need to bring working knowledge of Content Management Systems (such as WordPress) as well as being experienced with digital advertising, social channels, CRMs and Adobe Creative Cloud. You’ll be able to demonstrate your understanding of market research methods and how to translate the findings into future marketing campaigns, content, messaging and materials. Due to the nature and requirements of the role, you’ll need to bring strong written and verbal communication skills. You’ll also need to be IT literate (including proficiency with Microsoft packages). This role would suit a problem solver who has a keen eye for detail, as well as strong organisational skills.
