We’re looking for a Chef de Partie to keep the kitchen rolling, food flawless and make every plate unforgettable (only in a good way!) at The Hoxton, Edinburgh.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and guest needs are anticipated for early morning breakfast shifts.

We’ve opened our doors in Edinburgh’s charming West End - our very first Hox in Scotland. Set across 11 beautiful Georgian townhouses, we’re home to 214 bedrooms, a lively open lobby and bar, an all-day Italian trattoria Patatino, a retro-inspired cinema, a flexible and super-size event space called The Get Together, and The Apartment – our unique signature spot for meetings, private dinners and memorable gatherings.

Patatino is our all-day Italian trattoria serving fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and all the spritzes and Italian wines you could wish for. Inspired by the glam and romance of the sun-soaked Amalfi coast, it’s a spot for long, joyful meals with friends, where old-school charm meets modern design, with bold colours, cosy corners, and plenty of personality.

The Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels, each in a neighbourhood that we love. Ever since we opened our first hotel in Shoreditch, we’ve never just been about offering a bed for the night. We want to be more than that: proving style doesn’t need to be sacrificed for good value and providing a place where guests can hang out alongside the locals and submerse themselves in the neighbourhood with vibrant, welcoming public spaces.

What you will do…

14. Bring delicious flavours to our guests’ tables by running a section in our busy kitchen.
15. Nurture and develop the talent of the kitchen team, creating an environment that brings out the best in them and where they can be themselves.
16. Make sure things are running without a hitch, orders and deliveries are coming and going as needed, our service is smooth as chipotle butter and our food hygiene standards are sky-high.
17. Work with our Head Chef on ideas and techniques that make our kitchen a creative, ever-changing environment where we’re always looking to make the best food out there.
18. Ensure statutory compliance in all food and drink related areas.
19. Pay attention to the details to ensure every dish served is as delicious as the one before!
