£1800- £2200 per month – (temporary, potential salary depending on experience and/or qualifications and number of hours worked each week)

The School and Role
Note Hours:
9am - 2:30pm Monday, Tuesday – Thursday 9am - 3:30pm and Friday 9am - 2:30pm (28 Hrs per week)
We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in Year 6, with a particular focus on SATs preparation, at a primary school in the BL0 area of Bury, part of a supportive and well-regarded trust.
You will work with individuals and small groups across Key Stage 2, reinforcing learning objectives, supporting lesson delivery, and helping to maintain an organised, purposeful classroom.
You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment, supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development, and ensuring all school policies and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements
The requested Teaching Assistant you will require;
1. KS2 – Year 5/6 - Experience or confidence working with children and the curriculum.
2. A deep understanding of the National Curriculum framework or a willingness to learn this.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and professionals.
4. A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
5. A positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong commitment to professional development and learning.
