AI / ML Engineer
Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 plus excellent benefits and a relocation package of up to £10k

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity where you will play a key role in embedding machine learning and artificial intelligence models into next-generation products that make a real-world impact.
What you will do:
* Leading innovative AI projects from concept through to deployment.
* Developing and delivering computer vision–based AI solutions, with a focus on biological applications.
* Translating new AI features into actionable work items and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
* Managing AI model codebases, synchronizing with DevOps pipelines, and maintaining GitHub repositories.
* Producing high-quality technical documentation and contributing to patent filings.
* Implementing and evaluating state-of-the-art ML/AI models aligned with business goals.
Skills & Experience required:
* Strong programming expertise in Python.
* 3–4 years' experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
* Proven track record delivering computer vision AI projects (ideally in biotech).
* Solid knowledge of convolutional models and ONNX.
* Familiarity with Git and DevOps practices.
* Strong communication and documentation skills.
* MSc or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, AI, Computational Biology, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
