We are currently recruiting Unqualified Teachers, who are also known as Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of secondary schools in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to step into the education sector.
The Role:
* Supervise whole classes during teacher absences using pre-set work
* Ensure students remain on task and engaged throughout lessons
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work, etc.)
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Confident, adaptable, and proactive approach
* A genuine interest in education
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
