Rehabilitation Assistant (Neuro) at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT)
About the role
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams in the community, primary care, and acute neuro rehabilitation. In-service training and a blended competency package will support your professional development. This role requires agile virtual consultation and independent travel across the county.
Key responsibilities
* Support the delivery of neuro rehabilitation as in-reach to inpatient rehab beds and with patients in their own homes.
* Collaborate with Neuro Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and other Rehab Assistants.
* Assist patients with physical, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges to achieve their potential.
* Manage caseload via smartphone and laptop, providing virtual consultation where appropriate.
* Provide county‑wide coverage, including travel to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon, and sometimes further across the county.
* Adhere to strict time deadlines while traveling independently.
Travel requirements
The post is based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon, and may require county‑wide coverage. A personal vehicle is required for independent travel.
