Robertson Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company based in Derby as they look for an estimator for their fabrication department. You will be part of a small team and it is an exciting opportunity for someone with a practical mindset and a keen eye for detail.
Working hours
Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.00pm.
Job responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and timely fabrication quotations based on client requirements
* Follow up on quotations to maximise conversion rates and respond to customer queries
* Assess project requirements, including reviewing and interpreting technical drawings
* Develop and build client relationships to maximise opportunities and new business
* Develop a strong technical understanding of the products and the industry
Skills required
* Estimating experience and a background in the manufacturing/fabrication industry would be an advantage
* Excellent numerical skills and a keen eye for detail
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
