Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller / 5 Axis Programmer to join a busy and growing engineering business based in Darlington.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC machinist with 5-axis machining experience looking to join a well-established engineering environment with opportunities for further development and training.
Main Duties
Program, set and operate Haas and Hurco CNC machining centres
Program and machine 5-axis components
Carry out CAM programming using Delcam / Autodesk PowerMill / Fusion 360
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Operate manual mills and lathes when required
Work to tight tolerances and strict deadlines
Key Skills & Experience
Experience operating CNC milling machines
5-axis machining experience
CNC programming knowledge
Ability to work from engineering drawings and specifications
Good time management and attention to detail
Desirable but not essential:
Experience with Hurco, Haas or CMS machines
Knowledge of PowerMill or Fusion 360
Toolmaking experience
