Job Summary and key responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* To support in the completion of the Bank Reconciliation processes across all client accounts letting functions:
o Support Client Accounts through daily reconciliation, following daily transaction imports.
o Prompt investigation and resolution of discrepancies, collaborating with other members of client accounts to ensure no items are left unreconciled on the bank reconciliation.
o Understanding of compliance and audit expectations to support the wider teams.
* Support management through identifying potential improvements/opportunities for department.
o Provide an inquisitive approach to identifying and resolving recurring issues.
o Work collaboratively with Client Accounts colleagues to share feedback and improvements.
o Ensure the daily and monthly processes are completed in a timely manner to support onward workload to other
* Daily tasks include:
o Daily reconciliation of Bank Accounts.
o Downloading of all daily reports required by the Lettings Client Accounts teams across various systems, including the company treasury management system
o Processing of daily lettings payments in line with company mandates and payment schedules.
o Working in a collaborative and organised manner to support colleagues and wider team.
* Ad Hoc tasks include:
o Reporting to managers and support with Month End reporting schedule.
o Assisting with ensuring all processes are compliant and issues are resolved before month end.
o Any other tasks required for the day-to-day processing of payments and reporting
What are we looking for:
Essential:
* Exceptional communication skills.
* Excel experience
* Knowledge of Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme
* Experience in Bank Reconciliation
* Good problem-solving abilities
Desirable:
* Client money experience
* System knowledge i.e. Lettings systems
* Bank Reconciliation processing.
