We are currently recruiting Educational Psychologists to three different positions in our Educational Psychology and Specialist Support (EPSS) Service.

Educational Psychology and Specialist Support is a multi-disciplinary team and provides a broad range of professional consultation, assessment, intervention, training, development and preventative work, and meets the requirements of universities for Trainee Educational Psychologists. The team has excellent and well valued relationships with schools and other partners.

As Senior Educational Psychologist, you will take lead responsibility for the operational oversight of Quality Assurance, including preparation for inspections. You will lead, oversee and co-ordinate the Trainee Educational Psychologist and Assistant Educational Psychologist programme.

In addition to regular management tasks, there will be opportunities to develop in areas of professional interest.

This post provides an opportunity for a candidate who would like to develop their strategic knowledge, supervision and leadership skills within a very supported environment.

As Senior Specialist Educational Psychologist, your role will involve collation and sharing of research and information about local and national initiatives in the area of specialism. You will also advise/lead on evidence-based practice, including knowledge, experience and training on specialist areas of child development and special educational needs and disability.

Responsibilities will include supporting the cross-county development of appropriate and consistent practice within the designated area of specialism, ensuring that the whole EPSS service is skilled and trained to the highest standards, and to share knowledge with relevant wider teams within Norfolk County Council.

These are exciting opportunities to get involved as our service navigates its way through some big changes, all of which are improving things for our young people, families and schools through the Local First Inclusion Programme.

We are a nurturing and friendly team, which believes in continuous learning. We provide supervision tailored to individual needs, access to a generous CPD programme, allowing scope for further development of professional interests and flexible working arrangements.
