Assessor\nFor Adult Care\nPermanent\nFully Remote - Attending the Birmingham office twice a year, with all hotel and travel expenses paid.\nIdeally live near to Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham or Darlington, but can live anywhere in the UK, as this is fully remote, with approx once to twice a year to one of these locations\nMonday to Friday 9am to 530pm (is flexibility) 45 mins lunch\nEquipment is provided, a laptop, mobile, headsets etc.\nJob role\nCarrying out assessing and end point assessment activities and making decisions for apprenticeship standards\nMust have either end point assessing experience or worked as an assessor or as a Tutor for Adult Care or Health and social care to adults’ level 3\nConducing these online\nPlanning meetings with apprentices and employers online\nAgreeing a plan and schedule for each assessment activity for the end point window\nMarking in line with grading criteria for the apprenticeship standard and confirming each element has been completed\nDetermine the overall grade for the apprentice based on the combination of performance in all assessment activities\nParticipate in standardization and training activities\nEssential requirements for the role\nMust be Assessor and IQA qualified – such as A1 or TAQA or D32/D33 or CAVA and V1 or D34\nMust have been either an end point assessor or an assessor or Tutor in Adult Care or health and social care for adults up to Level 3\nIf Tutoring experience, must have kept up to date with competencies for the assessor’s award\nMust have experience in the past working in a care home in any role for adults\nSalary and Benefits\n25 days' holiday rising with service and your birthday off.\nHoliday purchase scheme for those life changing trips and moments.\nEnhanced Pension\nGroup Life Assurance – 3 x Annual salary\nUnlimited access to six Smart Health services including a 24/7 virtual GP\nHealth Cash Plan\nAccess to curated wellbeing content and our Employee Assistance Program\nEnhanced sick pay\nEnhanced Maternity/Shared Parental and Adoption packages leave\nA reward program and recognition program and annual awards event\nSalary to £28,382 per annum
