The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery, including homag CNCs and beam saws, to produce high-quality components for shop-fitting projects. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operation. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC machines, including human CNCs and beam saws, according to specifications and drawings. - Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and securing of workpieces. - Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files. - Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications. - Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts. - Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments. - Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
