We're currently on the lookout for a Production Lead Operator to join our team.Working as a Production Lead Operator you will actively support the Production Supervisor in planning and co-ordinating the day to day workload of your section to ensure that manufacturing processes and routine production activities are maintained and run smoothly and efficiently. In addition you will be responsible for the setup and operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures to achieve quality and output objectives. Working Hours: Day, Late and Night Shifts in accordance with business needs. Duties; Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to; Providing input into the management of direct reports including but limited to, recruitment, performance management, reward and recognition and training and development Supporting the production supervisor in planning, coordinating and deploying resource on-shift to achieve operational goals and objectives Promptly informing the relevant departments of operational changes/concerns for example; labour shortages, downtime the absence of the production supervisor Providing holiday/absence cover for the production supervisor, including but not limited to being the point of contact for the section Adhering to quality standards and requirements, including all QMS related items. Operating all equipment and machinery responsibly by following work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Working to achieve product, process and customer quality standards through awareness, understanding and consistent application of quality processes e.g. visual inspection, intervention process Completion of housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness within own and related areas To be successful youwill be able to: Communicate effectively Organize, prioritize workload based on business requirements.
