What youll be doing: Improving and modifying existing products using the ECR process Taking new product designs from concept through to manufacture, following FMEA standards Creating jigs and fixtures to support lean production methods Managing BOMs and keeping engineering data up to date in the PDM system Working directly with clients to come up with practical engineering solutions What youll need: A strong background in engineering, ideally with experience in heavy equipment design SolidWorks experience (confident user) CNC programming skills would be a bonus Ability to carry out design calculations (e.g. stress/load analysis) Experience designing to tight machining tolerances Solid knowledge of hydraulic systems Electrical knowledge would be an advantage If you want to be in a role where your input actually makes a difference - and where you can follow your designs from the drawing board to the finished build this is the one for you.
