Overview
Technip Energies is seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical activities during the Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning phases of the Net Zero Teesside Power project. The successful candidate will lead a team of electrical workers, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of electrical systems within their designated scope, contributing to the project’s successful delivery aligned with Technip Energies’ commitment to the energy transition.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a team of electrical workers to execute their scope of work within specific areas, systems, or sub-systems.
* Collaborate closely with the Electrical Superintendent to resolve technical issues related to electrical activities.
* Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools, consumables, and temporary equipment to perform Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning tasks effectively.
* Execute activities in accordance with the project schedule and priorities set by the Electrical Superintendent.
* Maintain high standards of quality in all electrical Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
* Conduct inspections and tests on all components of assigned sub-systems, ensuring they are covered by appropriate checklists.
* Review and report on functional tests not listed in existing checklists to the Electrical Superintendent.
* Review electrical punch list items for assigned sub-systems, ensuring timely clearance and close-out.
* Communicate any material requirements identified during punch list reviews to the Electrical Superintendent for procurement or logistical action.
* Promote safety, quality, and efficiency throughout all electrical activities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in supervising electrical teams during Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning phases of large-scale projects, preferably within the energy or petrochemical sectors.
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, testing, inspection, and commissioning procedures.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and liaise effectively with project management.
* Familiarity with relevant safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
