Protocol Education is working with a Gateshead primary school seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team full-time.
About the role:
This is a key position within the school, supporting pupils through their final year and preparing them for SATs and transition to secondary school.
Your responsibilities:
* Delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
* Preparing pupils for SATs with structured, targeted teaching
* Monitoring progress and closing learning gaps
* Supporting pupils’ confidence and readiness for secondary school
* Working closely with SLT and other staff
What we’re looking for:
* Strong KS2 experience, ideally Year 6
* Confidence with SATs preparation
* Excellent classroom management
* A driven, organised, and supportive approach
Working hours:
* Full-time
* 8:30am – 3:30pm
* Term-time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
