This multi-site manufacturing business requires an ambitious, target-driven IT Manager to head up the IT Department. The role involves multi-site travel within a 30 mile radius and requires a strong track record of running teams, developing systems and processes to drive improvements, ensure compliance, and optimise IT performance across the business function.
Responsibilities
* Identify company-wide processes that can be developed and improved.
* Provide a high level of IT support across the business function.
* Maintain, update and review all hardware and software.
* Ensure IT systems and networks support compliance with Data Protection and GDPR obligations.
* Develop the IT team through training plans and ongoing coaching.
* Liaise with relevant customers’ IT departments to provide secure, reliable and accurate e-trading facilities.
Skills and Qualifications
* Formal qualifications in Information Technology.
* Strong leadership skills and experience in team and process management across a company-wide role.
* Excellent training skills in new applications.
* Strong practical database knowledge.
