You will play a key role in providing support for students from all key stages alongside bespoke support for students with English as an Additional Language needs. What we are looking for
* Experience in teaching English as an Additional Language and supporting students within a similar environment
* ESOL training or willing to gain TEFL qualification, if needed
* Knowledge and understanding of the need to maintain a consistent, calm environment and the ability to manage any changes to the environment appropriately
* Confidence in liaising with staff across the school in the development of appropriate materials and resources to support students learning
* A flexible, conscientious and collaborative approach to supporting staff and students
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and use initiative
* A good general education including GCSEs in English and Maths
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people

Salary: GLF Specialist range £30,791 - £35,984 FTE
Actual Salary: £23,546 - £27,517
Hours of work: 32hrs per week (Mon - Fri) - 39 weeks per year
