Understanding that farming goes beyond being just a business, the Agriculture and Estates team works for private individuals, the majority of whom are farmers and landowners, and provides comprehensive legal services tailored to their unique needs and challenges. If you are an experienced property and/or private client solicitor seeking a new direction, and with experience working with agricultural clients, this could be your opportunity to gain specialised expertise in this exciting and varied field of work. You will develop specialised expertise within the agricultural sector while working closely with farmers, landowners, and agri-businesses. Your caseload will encompass a diverse range of work, including succession planning, Inheritance Tax (IHT), farm partnerships, agricultural tenancies, sales and purchases of farmland, renewable schemes, and financing. The Ideal Candidate: You may be seeking a change in your legal career and have a genuine interest in the rural way of life.
