Offer description

Research & Innovation Manager (Healthcare) The Opportunity: Bridge the Gap Between Science and Innovation Are you a researcher who thrives on seeing data turn into real-world healthcare solutions? Our client is an award-winning UK brand at the forefront of microbiome science. They manufacture a highly researched, unique liquid-based supplement designed to help people restore their digestive balance. Recently acquired by a global leader in lifestyle medicine, they are currently scaling their clinical research and innovation pipeline. They are looking for a Research & Innovation Manager to act as the vital link between world-class clinicians, academic experts, and internal commercial teams. Reporting directly to the Healthcare Professional Engagement Director, you will have the autonomy to shape a research roadmap and drive the innovation pipeline for a brand at the forefront of microbiology and nutritional science. The Impact You Will Make This is a dual-focus role: you will lead the rigour of clinical studies while ensuring the "so what?" is communicated effectively to the medical community. Own the Research Lifecycle: From protocol development and ethical approvals to data analysis and final reporting. Innovate the Pipeline: Use clinical insights to inform new product development, ensuring the business stays ahead of emerging scientific trends. Expert Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact for CROs, medical writers, and leading global academics. Translate Science: Turn complex data into impactful narratives for manuscripts, conferences, and HCP communications. Who You Are You are likely a mid-to-senior researcher who wants to see your work influence a global business strategy. The Credentials: A BSc or MSc in Life Sciences (or a related field). The Experience: 5 years in a research-based role, ideally with a background in microbiology, nutrition, or probiotics. The Technical Edge: You understand the "nitty-gritty" of GCP, ethical approvals, manuscript writing, and the journal submission process. The Communicator: You can explain complex scientific concepts to a marketing team or a room of clinicians with equal ease. The Project Lead: You are highly organised, capable of managing budgets, timelines, and multiple external partners simultaneously. Why This Role? Autonomy: Manage clinical studies day-to-day with the trust of senior leadership. Global Reach: Work alongside Global Scientific and R&I teams on high-visibility projects. Purpose: Work on products that are backed by robust science and used by healthcare professionals worldwide. Requirements Full UK Driver’s License (The site is only accessible via car; it's a hybrid role). Right to work in the UK. Ability to travel for site visits or conferences as required. How to Apply If you are a curious, strategic thinker ready to take the next step in your scientific career, we want to hear from you. Apply now for a confidential discussion about the company and the full scope of the role.
