Every day, Agilent Customer Support Engineers help our customers solve issues that enable scientists to make discoveries that enhance the quality of life. You will be responsible for supporting our clients with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and delivery of customer training on our spectroscopy solutions (ICP-MS, ICP-OES, AAS).

Main responsibilities include:

* Responding to customer needs by providing repair, installation, upgrade, and preventive maintenance activities
* Contacting customers in a timely manner and scheduling service efficiently
* Collaborating with managers and sales teams to understand and meet customer needs and expectations
* Maintaining Agilent’s customer service reputation by adhering to all corporate policies and procedures
* Completing administrative paperwork and reports promptly and accurately
* Providing feedback to Product Specialists, manufacturing, or OEM vendors regarding performance anomalies, using the complaint handling system as required
* Addressing customer requests proactively before, during, and after service

This role involves working remotely with travel to customer sites (4-5 days per week, occasional nights away) in the Cambridge / North London area, with a company car provided.


Qualifications:

* A recent university degree in a Chemistry-related field (Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc…)
* At least some hands-on experience (internship, university project, or first position) with spectroscopy solutions (ICP-MS, ICP-OES, AAS)
* Full proficiency in English
* A valid driving license

Personal qualities include being proactive, outgoing, customer-oriented, able to work autonomously and in a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external partners.

Additional Details:
